EDIT: just checked the game, and that fox shouldn't be there at all. It won't affect the total, so I won't be releasing a fix just yet, but I've fixed the map so it won't show up on any future releases.
Considering how good the original was, it was easy to go for instant buy. Thanks for making this sequel and I'm confident it will keep me busy for many weeks.
Purchased, looking forward to playing it like everyone else. What cartridge system is best to use on a real C64 then if I want to save my game with the minimum of fuss? I've got an UltimateII+, Kung Fu Flash and EasyFlash 3 at my disposal...
(if it's like the first game) UltimateII+ is easiest IMHO. Pick a blank d64, mount it, and saving to it should work automatically. That said it would be interesting to see if the KFF works with save to cart...
With 1541U2/Ultimate64 you have to explicitly save the cartridge contents after saving the game. The saved game is never stored in the existing .crt file, but if you save the cartridge contents in a new .crt file, it will contain the save game. IMO this is not very convenient and you can indeed consider to use a D64 file. Personally I consider Briley Witch Chronicles a big enough game to build a dedicated cartridge. I did play BWC1 from a dedicated cart and will do again with BWC2. I can now use my own designed device for that, the EasyFlash 1CR.

Thank you from the ZZAP! 64 team. :)
Do you also plan to release a physical version at some point?
What a Christmas gift! Thanks a lot! Downloading....
Loved the first game and as soon as I knew the 2nd one was for sale it was an instant buy!
Thank you for 2 great games!
I just bought the game. Will be playing soon 🙂 .
Just start playing. It took me about an hour to finish day 1.
In east of Maepole, there is an unreachable fox. See attached screenshot. Saw it with both Vice 3.7 and Vice development version.
Besides this, it is alright and great to play. I had to stop myself playing after 1 hour :)
Oh, I'd better fix that!

Yes, indeed. So version 1.0.1 will be released soon. Saving both to cart and disk is a good idea :)
Had the same problem. But once I got to the night time part of the game and after that, the fox was no longer in the place.
Awesome game!
Wow, that comes as a surprise! I heard that part 2 was in development but never would have thought that it's so near already. Fantastic!
Happy to see this land today! I've picked up Briley 1 as well.
@enagesbrain
Purchased with a little extra. Cannot wait to dig in.
I was so excited to buy but I had too much food at lunch and I slept lol!
I just got this beauty and I am so deeply, deeply thankful!
Hooray! :D
Just purchased and added 5 extra bucks. Enjoy a coffee or soda. Sarah. Thank you.
Thank you very much! I think I need a bit of a break after this...

I use Kung Fu Flash, and save to cart works fine.
I'll give the KFF a whirl then, thanks!
KFF and use save to cart.
The wait is over!
Thank you for supporting the C64 Sarah, and grats on the release. Can't wait to play this!
Yes ! purchased :) I can't wait to start playing it
